Love the ambiance inside. Large dining area. That local home cooked food feel to the place. The server was very friendly. Only ordered one thing off the menu, the cod and it was great. Had the buffet and it was only okay to me, came towards the end of lunch though. Would like to come back and try more, and those pies I need to try...
Local restaurant known for having homemade dishes. Felt a bit old inside but that is part of the charm. Recommended to try the hot beef sandwiches and house pizza. Wasn't sure how the daily chicken enchilada soup would be but surprisingly tasty with a kick of heat. All food we had was good and filling. Not too many eating places in this town but if ever around would recommend stopping here.
Delicious food and great service with a smile. Priced very reasonably.
Buffett Sunday at 11. Super great food and service.
The staff was friendly and service was timely. Everything we had tasted great.
Warm, clean and great atmosphere. Family friendly. Prompt service. Wish we had saved room for homemade pies. Tzatziki sauce was fresh and flavorful. Real Potatoes and made fresh roast beef. Homemade pizza crust. Iowa proud!
Gus and Tony's is a West Union staple holding the community together with consistently great food and service! Today the three of us had the Chef Salads, two with Chicken and Ranch and one with Ham and Blue Cheese dressing. The salads were very fresh and crisp. We also had a piece of Gus and Tony's famous pies. Today we shared Rhubarb pie. It was so good it didn't last long enough to get a photo. Yes, it was the last piece of Rhubarb they had, so no option to get a second slice.
1st time here and WOW! What a Gem spot! Awesome food! Awesome atmosphere and fantastic service! This is a GOTTA TRY IT!
